I have to admit that I have a HUGE designer crush on the fabulous Jessica Hische! Everything she does is amazing! Her lettering skills and illustrations are picture perfect. I would definitely LOVE to have her mad skills when I grow up. She recently got married and her wedding was featured on 100 Layer Cake and it's no surprise that all the design elements were pure perfection! You can check it all out on the wedding website Jessica and her beau created but here are a few of the snippets that I adore...

Okay..so it's not exactly a font but I just had to share this amazing laser cut letter! It's so intricate and beautiful! Don't you think it would make a great decoration for the back of the Bride and Groom's chairs at the reception?? And it's yet another thing you can take from your wedding and use as decor in your house. Simple place each letter in a frame with a dark background or no background for a sleeker look and hang on your wall. No cheesy wedding memorabilia here! Check with your local graphic designers or your wedding stationer and see if he/she can design a couple laser cut letters for you. You can also design your own and do a quick online search for printers that offer laser cutting.
Have a safe, happy, and warm weekend! Snuggle up on the couch with some hot cocoa and your loved one if you are one of the "lucky" ones in the middle of this cold spell!

|via Wine for a Wedding|
Ok, you spent all this money on gorgeous invitations for your big day so why not preserve a little piece of them to remember your wedding! If the life sized invite doesn't float your boat (which I can't believe!) and the paper quilt is a little too old fashioned...how about an anniversary wine box engraved with your wedding invite?? Wine for a Wedding will create a gorgeous wine box that includes three wines in separate compartments that will be perfectly aged by your fifth, tenth, and fifteenth wedding anniversaries. You can even include a message on the inside of each compartment to read when you open it on your anniversary! For a wine-o like myself, this is the PERFECT way to "recycle" your wedding invitation into something amazing that will last for fifteen years! That is if you can wait that long to drink each bottle:)

With all the things you have to think about when you are planning your wedding, favor packaging can sometimes fall by the wayside! This is a bummer because it's such a great way to add one more personal touch to your wedding that will leave your guests with a great lasting impression. IF you have left your favor planning to the last minute, here is a super simple, super cute idea. Just head down to your local office store, grab some paper CD sleeves, bake some delicious cookies, sample a few of the cookies to make sure they are yummy enough, and put the rest in the CD sleeves. Print up a cute little label and there you have it. Easy as pie..or cookies in this case:)

And the 2013 Pantone Color of the Year goes to........EMERALD!! I have to say Pantone did a fabulous job with this choice! Emerald is a gorgeous jewel tone color that lends so much life to everything. It's so vibrant and elegant all at the same time. Color of the year or not, you are sure to have an amazing wedding if you incorporate a little emerald. Here are a few ways to do just that...with paper of course!
Will you be incorporating the color of the year in your wedding??
